I grew up in my family’s business, watching my father, a third-generation business owner of the family company, and mother share 50/50 responsibilities on operating their wholesale food distribution in Washington state. Formally known as Reichert’s Meats, the further developed foodservice distribution was a huge piece of our family thread.
Everyone in the family worked at the company at some point and I enjoyed the unique experience of getting to work for my parents each summer of college. I credit a lot of my natural business knowledge to growing up in these circumstances, spending time with customers at a young age and with my family in the business doing various tasks. My second summer I began pursuing my marketing interest within the company by creating flyers, calendars, digital menus, physical menus, and other items for all of the clientele. I fondly remember sitting down at my dad’s desk as he would run through the numbers with me and pass along his business knowledge little by little.
Reichert Creative is named as an homage to the original family company, Reichert Meat's. Our logo and brand has many hidden Easter eggs that pay tribute to my late father, who taught me so much, as well as the company that I and my family grew up in. The logo design is heavily influenced by the hand painted design on the first ever delivery truck. The style has been adapted to hold its modern influence, but the vintage style script and brand design are all created around this concept.
After graduating from Western Washington University in 2016 with a B.A in Graphic Design and a B.A. in Communication Studies. Ready to follow in my father’s entrepreneurial footsteps, I started my first company in 2021. Golden Rabbit Co., a hand-illustrated greeting card company based in e-commerce. I had been working with a few private design clients within this time as well to provide services in the social media, digital design & print design realms. In 2022 this really took hold, and now Reichert Creative services a varying range of clients who want to improve their business by clearly communicating their services, offerings, and company values. I enjoy working with clients to find and solve the problems within their company and provide solutions through clear, visually appealing visual communication strategies.
